Rules and Regulations

Registering
When making an account, make it as your character's name or nickname. Please try to use capitalization and spacing if you have a last name. When you register, please make sure you read all of the rules so that we can avoid running into problems with your app. This site is not for anyone under the age of 13. If you are younger than 13, we will ask if you have parent permission to be on here, because this site allows swearing, sexual relationships (with warnings on the topics) and violence.

Code of Approval
We don't want people joining and getting away with not reading the rules. To stop that, we are now having a code of approval for new members who join the site. In order to be approved, they must read through the rules of the site and look for the code of approval, in which there is a message there. It is only one short sentence, and all you have to do is simply copy and paste it to the area in your application. We will be changing this message weekly, so that no one can just look at other applications for it.

Bans and Encouragement List
Make sure to check the ban list so that you do not add anything to your character that is not allowed. If anything you put is on that list, we will politely confront you about what you have. If any admins or mods confront you in any way that is insulting, harassing, and/or offending in any way, please tell the ROOT Admin of this issue.
This has not been added to the site yet. It will be added as soon as more characters joined.

Character Creations
Custom characters on the site MUST follow these rules when making their character. You may only be any of the active races (ask if you would like to mix races) and up to three classes. Your strongest class will be your main one deciding your color. When making your template, you are not to automatically declare yourself as the Queen or King of some kingdom. All members must start out as beginners (warriors or civilians). In order to level up, you must practice RPing, or earn Xin by either advertising or posting on the site.

Canon Characters
Since this site is based on a non-existing manga at the moment, there are canon characters that are up for grabs. We want to be experimental with this. When doing so, you choose which character from the canon introduction, see their personalities, appearances, classes, and background and you can roleplay as them. As to how you portray their personalities while roleplaying will give the Administration a better understanding and more ideas on how to have them react in the manga.

Face-Claiming
This is for any custom characters who want to avoid finding other characters using the same picture as them, you may direct yourself to the creation area to post in the "Face-Claiming" topic within the "Character Sheets" forum.

Activity
Please try staying active, we don't need to have 200 accounts here and only 5 are active. If you do not stay active, your accounts are suspended. If you're only active with one character and hardly play as the other, please delete your other character. If you're going to be away from the computer for a long period of time for any reason--please make a topic in the "Introductions and Farewells" section. After several months of inactive users, deletion of accounts may be necessary.
If you are inactive for two weeks, all positions you have are taken away and open for someone else.

Multiple Characters
When it comes to making characters, we are pretty lenient. We will allow you to be one canon character, and as many custom characters as you like. Our only rule on this is that before creating another character, your previous account before it must have at least 50 posts.

Storylines
There is a story line to this. We will have a summary of the story line in a topic under Storyline. Follow it, or things will get confusing for us and yourself.

Inner Chi/Magical Weapons
On your character sheet, you are to explain what your weapon is and what your magical ability for it is, and you must limit your power. For new members, we will allow you to have ONE ability and element to your weapon for now, unless with a very expertise roleplaying sample, or permission from an admin (which includes recommendation from an Admin or Super Mod). As for members with chi, you may choose to have three abilities in ONE element and no weapon, or have a weapon and two chi abilities.

Character Approval
Only Administrators and Moderators will be approving characters. Please remember to keep in mind you also are unable to roleplay until an Administrator or Moderator approves it. In order to have your character sheet approved, it MUST have a roleplay sample so we can see where you are in RP. We don't want inexperienced knights or high members. So PLEASE include your RP sample.


Roleplaying
This is a text-base roleplaying site, which means we do not allow speed RP. Speed RP includes the following.

See how obnoxious that is? Please use complete sentences and try to keep grammar and spelling errors to a minimum. This is not meant to be an RP site for elite characters though, so it does not matter if you do one sentence posts, or 5 paragraph posts. Just have fun!

Roommates and Teams (Knights/Students)
Once, said knight or student is approved, they will be assigned to a room either in the Knight's Quarters or the Academy in which they are learning skills. They are not allowed to pick which dorm they are put into, and they are not allowed to pick their roommates. For knights, there will be four members to each room with two bunk beds. This will be your squad. Suites are dorms that only have one person within them, usually assigned for highly ranked knights. For students, there will be two assigned to a room with twin beds on each side. If you are residing in a dorm without a second resident for the time being, this does not mean you are going to live alone forever. If you would REALLY like to have a roommate, tell an admin so that they can assign the next joining academy member to your room.

Godmodding and Metagaming
Please no godmodding. We don't need you dodging every attack, controlling characters, instant-killing, or using more power than you actually have. To do so is unfair and ridiculous.
We also are not allowing metagaming, which is when you know something your character should not know about, but act as though they know it anyways.
Example: Eldin was taken to the Forsaken Castle, but Shiki doesn't know it. The players of Eldin and Shiki discussed what was going on out of character, and regardless of the fact that Shiki isn't supposed to know where he is, he instantly gains that information and arrives there as if he knew everything all along.
We don't need know-it-all's. It takes away from the fun.

Relationships
Relationships are allowed and recommended during the RP experience. You may fall in love with whoever you please, and it does not matter who they are, regardless of race or gender. If you fall in love with the enemy, that spices up the story.
If you plan on making "lemon" topics, in other words, sexual topics, that is as well allowed. Please remember to put "PRIVATE" in the title. Yaoi and Yuri are both allowed.

Death
If you are killed, you are dead. End of story. There are no ways to cheat death. Once you die, you cannot return. The only time you can revive yourself, is when someone instant-kills you, or joins a private topic of yours and kills you within it.
SPIRITUAL WATER: On this site, Elves that reside in Enderville have a sacred shrine filled with water that revives the dead. This only works on a person once and will not work a second time. If you know someone who is an Elf from Enderville, you may request them to revive you.

Killing
Killing a member of this site without the consent of that person is not permitted at any time. No one deserves to get their player killed without their knowledge. Instant killing is unacceptable. Death matches ARE allowed, but there must be consent between both characters, and the topic title must include "Death Match" in it. THIS DOES NOT APPLY FOR EVIL CHARACTERS. If spotted on target by a knight or anyone who is against Silas, they are allowed to death match you.

OUT OF CHARACTER

Advertising
Advertising is guest friendly! We don't recommend doing lots of guest advertising, but it is allowed. If you decide to advertise on our site, you give us full permission to advertise back onto your own site. If there is a problem with us advertising on your site, your advertisement on our site will be deleted. Code of approval: Shades are based off of slendermen.

Administration and Moderation
If you are given special privileges by one of the administrators, you are not to abuse the power. Do not rank yourself highly if you do not deserve it and do not take advantage of chatbox moderation power. You are only to kick people from the chat if they disrupt the chat in any way by disrupting the rules of the site. At first, I'll give you a warning and strip you of your power for 48 hours. If it happens again, you're power is stripped permanently.

Language
Swearing is not prohibited, but we do wish for you to keep it to a minimum. We would prefer that you only swear when in character, but it is not required. There will absolutely be no swearing to offend or hurt another member of the site while not in RP. If we find out that this is being done for so, severe consequences will take place.

CHAT BOX RULES
ADVERTISING ON THE CHATBOX IS PROHIBITED. That is what the Advertisement forum is for under "OTHER".
Please be respectful on the chatbox and keep swearing to a minimum if possible. Respect any mods within the chatbox, and have a good time!
